This is the greatest news you will ever hear!

• Eternal life/ Heaven is a free gift!  

  “For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the free gift of God; not by works, lest any man should boast.”  (Ephesians 2:8,9)

• Man is a sinner.
  

  “For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God.”  (Romans 3:23)

• God is merciful.  (He wants all to be saved, but…)

  “God is love.”  (1 John 4:8)

  God is also just.  (He must punish sin).

  “I will by no means clear the guilty.”  (Exodus 34:7)

• Jesus is the answer!  (Jesus paid the penalty of our sin, was crucified on a cross for our sin, and was raised from the dead so that we can receive life, abundant and eternal.)

  “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him (Jesus) the iniquity (sin) of us all.”  (Isaiah 53:6)

  “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”  (John 3:16)

• Faith is the key to Heaven!  (Not mere head knowledge; not mere temporal faith, but trusting in Jesus alone for eternal life.)

  “Believe (trust) on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved.”  (Acts 16:31)

*If you’d like to receive the free gift of eternal life…

• Confess and Repent (turn away from your sin).

• Trust in Jesus and what He’s done for you on the cross and in His resurrection.

• Choose to Follow Jesus as Lord over your life.  (He knows and wants the best for you.)

“For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”  (Romans 10:10, 13)

Jesus said, “I say unto you, he that believes in Me has everlasting life.”  (John 6:47)

*Congratulations!  Welcome to God’s Family!

“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those that believe on His name.”  (John 1:12)

**Today is your spiritual birthday!  You are born again!  The old has passed and you are a new creation in Christ Jesus!

“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.”
(2 Corinthians 5:17)

• Pray.  

         (It may seem foreign to you in the beginning, but praying is simply communing and communicating with God.  You can talk with Him everyday, as you’re talking to your perfect Heavenly Father/ the loving and merciful Savior and Lord that He is/ and as the Best Friend that He is.)

• Worship.  

          (Find a good, local Bible-based, Christ-centered, Holy Spirit-filled church.  God is so good and is worthy to be worshiped by His people and children.  If you happen to be nearby, we’d love for you to join us in worship on Sundays at 11am at The Wesley Chapel.)

• Fellowship.  

         (Get connected with other believers/ Christians/ Followers of Jesus so that you can do life together and grow in Jesus together.  You’re not meant to do life and your spiritual life alone.)

• Testify (Share).  

         (Share with your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, classmates, or anyone else about how you came to know Jesus and received eternal life and how they can know Him and receive eternal life too!)
